Expectations

1.) We are not set up to accept drop offs so parents or guardians will need to attend events with their children.

(Parents are responsible for their children.)

2.) Please try to acknowledge or decline attendance by clicking RSVP on our website calendar, weekly texts, or in our Facebook group so we can plan to have the necessary supplies and setup accordingly.

3.) Please plan to dress in modest attire. (Refrain from tight, revealing, or otherwise inappropriate clothing.)

4.) Please be kind, respectful, and maintain appropriate conduct.

5.) On occasion, we will need help replenishing and providing supplies for activities. We will ask for help when there is

a need and appreciate all that members are willing to help with!

6.) We may at times plan for potluck or snacks at activities. Although we try to be mindful of needs, parents will be responsible for their children's dietary restrictions.

7.) We are truly grateful for Pikes Peak Christian Church's graciousness in allowing us to meet at their church on Thursdays and want to show our thankfulness by keeping the facilities clean and maintained. We thank you for being respectful and helping us care for the space they have allowed us to use by helping us pick up and clean the facilities after we are finished using the room.

8.) Membership starts September 1st for each school year.

(Rates will not be adjusted for registration after September 1st and membership cannot be refunded.)

9.) If anyone has a concern, please contact us with the concern so we can discuss it in private.

Statement of Faith

  • We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ – His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His reconciling death for all people, His resurrection from the dead, His ascension to Heaven, and His return in power and glory.

  • We believe the Bible is without error and the authority for all we believe and practice.

  • We believe salvation is by the grace of God, apart from any personal merit, and is the common need of all people, who have sinned and fallen short of God’s standards. Salvation is through faith in Christ alone.

  • We believe the appropriate response of faith to the grace of God is that we repent of sin, confess Christ as Lord, are baptized (immersed) in His Name, and continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord.

  • We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling presence empowers and directs the Christian to live a godly life.

  • We believe in the resurrection from the dead, with believers inheriting eternal life with Christ and unbelievers facing judgment.

  • We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • We believe marriage is an exclusive, life-long covenant between a man and a woman and that sexual intimacy should be confined to those who have entered into that publicly recognized union.

  • We believe that God determines male or female gender in the womb, and that gender is affirmed by biological traits present at birth and is unchangeable. We believe that both genders equally reflect the image of God, and all should be treated with respect, understanding and compassion. (Ge 1:27; 2:22-23; 1 Co 11:12; Ga 3:28)
